4 channel S0-Interface

posted by tostmann on Sat 31 of Jan, 2009 [12:19 UTC]
The prototype of the 4 channel S0-Schnittstelle to ethernet device is ready for start writing firmware.
It fits into a DIN rail case and supports Power over Ethernet (PoE). Nevertheless you may power it with 230V directly.
A 1wire hosts is also available.
The perpendicular I2C feature connector lets you expand devices capabilities (like RS485-horizontal-devicelink or several display units)

CC1101 - USB - Light module for 433MHz

posted by tostmann on Mon 15 of Sep, 2008 [14:26 UTC]
Due to the demand of the community we have decided to start prototyping a 433MHz version of the CUL module.
433MHz unfortunately requires some changes of moduls hardware, so just different firmware wont do.

Remote - version 2

posted by tostmann on Sat 06 of Sep, 2008 [11:37 UTC]
Now, as the first CUR (CC1101-USB-Remote) prototype is built we have decided on the following changes:

  • The left and right jog keys will be removed, so the 5-way joystick is the only input device
  • a USB processor (instead of FTDI) with 64 or 128 kB program flash will do the work
  • MicroSD slot is gone - but 2MB data flash is fixed wired on board
  • an additional InfraRed? led will also allow you to control "normal" devices
  • an additional TSOP infrared sensor will enable you to record and replay, basically learn IR commands.
  • the battery charger will now also monitor batt-temperature and is able to charge either Li-Ion? or Polymer batteries.
  • Extra screws will hold the cover together
  • you may solder optional FPC connectors for ISP and JTAG connectivity

... up to next round!
